Seven years later, the UAE spacecraft will fly to Venus on the way to the asteroid belt—— A major task was announced on Tuesday.

Through this mission, the UAE aims to collect scientific data to help mankind have a deeper understanding of how the solar system was formed.

The expedition’s UAE spacecraft will approach Venus at close range for the first time in mid-2028, and then approach Earth at close range in mid-2029. Then it will fly over a major asteroid belt object for the first time in 2030.

So, what makes Venus — some people call the “Morning Star” — special and unique?

1. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system

Its temperature may soar to 425 degrees Celsius, enough to melt lead

The radius of Venus is 6,052 kilometers, which is slightly smaller than the Earth’s 6,378 kilometers. Because of their similar mass and size, they are called “sisters”

A day on Venus is equivalent to 243 Earth days-although a year on Earth is approximately 223 Earth days

This is more than there are volcanoes on any other planet in the solar system.However, most of these volcanoes are dormant

8. Venus rotates in the opposite direction to the Earth and most other planets in the solar system

9. Venus is named after the Roman goddess of beauty

It is the only planet named after a female figure.

10. The wind speed of Venus can reach 725 kilometers per hour

According to scientists, this is faster than the fastest tornado on earth.
