[ad_1]

It has a festive vibe to it…

“My goodness, what a great plan you have,” said Little Red Riding Hood, her eyes fixed on her imaginary grandmother’s hairier-than-normal forearms. “Just have fun,” Old Wolf replied dearly, speaking in very clear English. They were brilliant plans, and the duo spent a glamorous weekend in Abu Dhabi, well fed and generally having a good time, forgetting about the predator vs. prey dynamic. If you too want to live happily ever after, we’ve put together a few short chapters on how to do it.

Shangri-la

Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi has some absolutely huge summer deals (take their National Aquarium package for example, which includes entry to Atlantis attraction, a night at the hotel, Dhs500 dining credits, Enjoy 25% off therapeutic body massages at the Spa, and more for just Dhs920). We also love the Friday Kung Fu Tea Ceremony – a thousand-year-old ritual performed by the hotel’s skilled tea master, Liu Ping, which runs from 6pm to 8pm every Friday until the end of August for AED 168 Ram.

home is art

Art on the wall, art on the plate, art in the heart. Art House Cafe in Abu Dhabi aims to be a passionate experience, with the dining element at its core. They have an extensive menu, but their famous shakshoka is probably our brunch choice. Every inch feels and smells like a truly inspiring creative space surrounded by greenery and abstract scenes. Because it’s a place that celebrates creative sparks, you can paint a full Picasso on a plate for Dhs20, with the option of painting a mask (Dhs30) or a miniature brick painting (Dhs10).
