Named after the cartoon dog that is said to be shaped like a cartoon dog, Snoopy Island is an ocean paradise that offers some of the best snorkeling spots in the GCC. Turtles, a rainbow of fish and even tiny whitetip reef sharks make their home in the sparkling azure waters. Spend the day at a sandy beach resort with direct access to the island and the possibility to rent snorkelling equipment and engage in non-motorized water sports. Sandy Beach Resort also has a mini water park for the little ones and a beautiful infinity pool with swim-up bar.
Atlantis Aquaventure, The Palm
With 22 hectares of water fun, Aquaventure is a day worth braving the summer heat in Dubai. Spanning three oversized towers, there are more than 100 rides to explore, whether you want to relax on the rapids or face your fears on The Leap Of Faith. You can pick up free water socks to protect your feet and leave your shoes behind. When you’re not riding rides, you can take a break at places like Aquaventure Beach or enjoy endless hours of fun at Splashers’ Island. To avoid the long lines, get there early and tick off your wish list, but with so many rapids, rides and racers to try, you won’t have to wait long. For true water lovers, there is the option to upgrade your admission, which then also gives you access to the Lost Chambers Aquarium, where you can explore aquariums teamed with marine life. Refuel at the water park at Wavehouse, or enjoy unlimited pizza at Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza for AED 95.

Ras Al Khaimah Jebel Jas
We were able to create a huge list of all things to do on this popular mountain alone. Mount Jas It is the highest mountain in the region and is home to many fun adventure activities. There are the popular Jais Sky Tour, Jais Flight (the world’s longest zipline), Jais Sledder, Jais Rope Course and more.For those who want to study in the wild, there are Bear Grylls Explorer Camp (you can read our review here), or you can choose an “easy” route to hike, or just enjoy the view from the lookout.
Abu Dhabi Al Wazba Fossil Sand Dunes
They may be just a 30-minute drive from central Abu Dhabi, but these twisted, windswept rock formations feel far removed from the capital. Follow Al Ain Ka Road and E30, then head south towards Al Wathba Wetland Reserve.
Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The largest mosque in the UAE, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, is undoubtedly one of the oldest beautiful mosque in the world. The mosque’s 82 domes and more than 1,000 columns, surrounded by a reflecting pool, will take your breath away just by looking at it. From the marble halls to the gilded chandeliers, from the mosaic artwork to the columns embedded in amethyst and jasper, the place of worship is a sight to behold. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE. Its open door policy welcomes tourists from all over the world and up to 50,000 devotees every day.
Burj Khalifa Burj Khalifa
Often referred to as the only seven-star hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab is on the wish list of many residents. Al Ain Oasis had the honor of becoming the UAE’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site back in 2011. The 3,000-acre oasis is one of the oldest permanently inhabited settlements in the world, dating back more than 4,000 years. You can stroll along peaceful pathways surrounded by more than 147,000 date palm trees forming a beautiful green canopy.

Emirates Bio Farm is the largest private organic farm in the UAE, located in the red desert dunes of Al Shuwaib between Dubai and Al Ain. The farm is built in the spirit of sustainability, which applies to crop rotation, the use of pesticides and the packaging of the fruits and vegetables sold on the farm.The farm creates a complete visitor experience that includes farm store, al fresco dining and lounge areas, an experience centre, a conservatory restaurant and Arabian tents overlooking the farm and open desert dunes. During your visit, you can take a tractor ride, take a walk in the fields, feed the friendly goats or pick seasonal fruits and vegetables.
