Saturdays throughout January: Watch the sky lit up by fireworks at the Sheikh Zayed Festival

Every Saturday at 10pm, enjoy some of the biggest and most beautiful fireworks displays lighting up the skies over Al Wathba. Admire spectacular colors and dazzling formations as well as laser and hologram shows.

With the return of the Al Hosn Festival, this January will host a 10-day festival of creativity and culture at the birthplace of Abu Dhabi’s cultural scene. Explore Abu Dhabi’s historic traditions and its connections to contemporary and emerging cultures, expect live performances, family workshops, food and beverage stalls, art and cultural exhibitions, immersive trails, re-enactments and more.

January 19 to 22: Play golf at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

The popular golf event is being held for the second time at Abu Dhabi’s S Links, attracting the sport’s top international talent. New for 2023, Yas Terrace is a brand new exclusive viewing area with key views from the 18th centuryday Greens and fairways and lounge bar. General admission is free, but you still need to register for a ticket.

Jan. 21: Laugh out loud with Kevin Bridges

Scottish burlesque Kevin Bridges will travel to the Etihad Arena on Saturday 21 January to bring his Overdue Catch up world tour to the UAE.Probably best known for his regular appearances and quick whiplash on British television panel shows including would i lie to you, do i have news for youBridges also performed live in apollo with Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. These American rock legends are bringing their massive Mercury World Tour to Abu Dhabi for just one night. The multi-Grammy award-winning platinum band will play a show at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island on January 26 before kicking off the Latin American leg of their world tour.
