10,000-square-foot Hall of Fame Recreation and Learning Center Comes to the American Dream

This New Jersey Hall of Fame It said on Tuesday that it began construction on its custom-built 10,000-square-foot space, which is due to open in American dreamfeaturing exhibits and a highly immersive experience to celebrate the Garden State and New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees.

The new recreation and learning center will be located on the third floor of the Meadowlands entertainment, shopping and dining destination and is expected to be completed in spring 2023.

“The American Dream is full of attractions, shops and restaurants that you can’t find anywhere else in the world, let alone this state. It’s truly a source of pride for the great state of New Jersey, so only NJHOF opens here The Recreation and Learning Center is just right. It will complement our exceptional entertainment, retail and dining options and make American Dream an unrivaled indoor family entertainment destination,” said Don Ghermezian, CEO of American Dream, in a statement.

“The American Dream is a one-of-a-kind destination and an icon of New Jersey, making it the ideal location for our state-of-the-art center. The Recreation and Learning Center will be one of the ultimate symbols of Jersey pride, where we will be able to celebrate All the contributions of our great state and so many outstanding residents,” said Hall of Fame President and Inductee Jon Hanson.

Visitors will first be greeted by life-size replicas of NJHOF inductees, welcoming them into the ELC, and then into the Hometown exhibit, where they can embark on a virtual reality tour of their hometowns in the classic cars of Hall of Famers, School, home and favorite restaurant.

“We are delighted to see the launch of this program and we support the mission of the New Jersey Hall of Fame to honor our great state and its outstanding citizens who have contributed so much to the world,” Hackensack Meridian Health CEO Robert Garrett, NJHOF express.

The new plant will also feature the historic Model T Ford, which was presented to Hall of Famer Thomas Edison by Henry Ford in 1933. The two made their famous road trip across the country in the Model T, becoming good friends along the way.

Additionally, visitors can hop on stage on the holographic karaoke stage, sing along with some of the music industry legends (including Gloria Gaynor and Frankie Valli), or play late-night hosts and interview some of their favorite stars.
