Leasing Dispute Center develops the world’s first smart judicial leasing system for domestic and foreign litigants

The Rental Dispute Center has had notable success in handling and resolving rental disputes. Up to now, the number of tenancy lawsuits registered in the center has reached 103,975, divided into 92,732 primary lawsuits and 11,243 appeal lawsuits, of which 100,000 lawsuits have been settled, accounting for 96% of the registered cases in the center.
These lawsuits accounted for only 1.9% of the total number of lease contracts registered with the Dubai Land Department during the same period, with more than 5.2 million lease contracts worth a total of Dh654 billion. Rental Dispute System (2015): The world’s first intelligent judicial leasing system dedicated to the management of leasing cases, including the registration, settlement, issuance of judgments, and execution of leasing cases. It constitutes a leap forward in the remote litigation system, where artificial intelligence will issue judicial decisions, enabling litigants to issue their own judgments without human participation.
It is worth noting that the Dubai Center for Tenancy Disputes was established on 18 September 2013 by Decree No. 26 of 2013 issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
