Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The 2022 Asian Cup trophy was presented in Abu Dhabi earlier today (Friday) by Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the UAE Cricket Council His Highness unveiled.
Also present at the unveiling ceremony were UAE Cricket Council Secretary General Mubashshir Usmani, Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva, Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva, UAE Cricket Council Advisor Subhan Ahmed, General Finance and Operations Company Suchith Perera, Asian Board Prabhakaran Thanraj, Head of Events and Business, Cricket Council and Asia Cricket Council.
The big event of the Asian Cricket Council returns after a four-year hiatus in the 2022 Asian Men’s Cup. From 27 August to 11 September, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host nine matches including the final in the T20 format at two venues, while the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host four matches .
