2022 UAE Women’s Quad Collection | Squad, Schedule, Team, Time, Live

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the Quad T20I Series in Dubai from September 10-13. Thailand, the United States of America (United States) and Zimbabwe will join the host United Arab Emirates. The tournament will see all 4 teams prepare for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup qualifiers in Abu Dhabi later the same month (September).

1. United Arab Emirates Women’s Cricket Team

The team last played in the final of the Asian Cricket Council Women’s T20 Championship in late June this year. The UAE have won 3 of their 4 games and one game is without result. The UAE remained unbeaten throughout the competition before winning the final with a five-goal loss to Malaysia. The next game in the quad series against Thailand in the tournament opener.

The USA also last played during the 2021 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup qualifiers, and they finished bottom of Group B with 0 wins from 3 matches. The team has had U19 players play several series recently, and many faces from the same series have been named the UAE Tour, so there could be a lot of changes for American cricket on this tour. The team ended their absence when they played against Zimbabwe in the series opener.

4. Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket Team

The team following the 2021 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup qualifiers joined Namibia and Uganda in the Capricorn Women’s T20I series, which they (Zimbabwe) eventually won. The UAE-building team played five T20 matches against emerging teams on the South African tour and won the series 4-1. A stellar year so far will now see them play the U.S. in the opener of the quad series.
