Set to open in 2024, Mondrian Abu Dhabi will be a spectacular hotel in the bustling downtown area along the canals of Abu Dhabi, overlooking the waterfront of Reem and Maryah Islands, with direct views of the city skyline. The project, which has already broken ground, will join Mondrian’s seven operating hotels.
The new Mondrian Abu Dhabi will feature 221 rooms and 80 serviced apartments, as well as six unique food and beverage outlets, a ballroom, four meeting rooms, a spa, a swimming pool, a children’s clubs, a retail precinct and a world-class fitness precinct, making it a welcome addition to Abu Dhabi’s bustling city centre. Mondrian Abu Dhabi will offer a chic crystal clear lagoon where guests can enjoy drinks while soaking up the sun. The lagoon will have expansive ocean views and feature an infinity pool design, lounges and daybeds that wrap around the water’s edge.
Designed by award-winning interior architect Tristan Du Plessis, Mondrian Abu Dhabi will be both dreamy and timeless with imagination and charm. It will subtly capture the clean and modern aesthetic of the Middle East, while seamlessly incorporating the warmth and comfort embedded in the DNA of all Mondrian hotels. A short distance from the city’s most popular destinations such as the Corniche, Abu Dhabi Mall, Galleria and Sorbonne University, the hotel is surrounded by many leisure and cultural attractions, making it ideal for discerning business travelers and tourists destination.
