Pan-African restaurant and lounge Kiza has introduced two new weekend experiences, Shisanyama Saturdays and Sophiatown Sundays, following the restaurant’s recent makeover in May. Every Sunday from 7pm to 12am, Kiza will pay tribute to Johannesburg’s iconic Sofiatown neighbourhood, known for its vibrant music scene and rich cultural heritage. The experience also includes menu items such as Butter Chicken Curry, Tomato Bredie, Pap and Wors and Oxtail Potjie.
Shisanyama Saturdays is held every Saturday from 5pm to 3am and will feature grilled food. Guests can enjoy grilled meats, grilled cheeseburgers, West Coast rock lobster, tiger prawns and more.

Heading into summer, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is relaunching its Cantonese Journey menu. Locally sourced ingredients are used in the menu, curated by Executive Chef Li Guohua, and dishes include Tofu Maori Salad with Kumquat Dressing, Dim Sum Duo and Jasmine Tea Smoked Chicken with Rose Petal Crystals. For mains, guests can enjoy dishes such as organic honey char-grilled grouper, local sea prawns and green beans sautéed in olive leaves. Finally, serve the sweet potato creme brulee to your guests.
The menu is served daily from 6pm to 11.30pm until 31 August, along with Hakkasan’s à la carte menu.
