The National Aquarium will partner with Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri to host an underwater Iftar ceremony, offering guests exclusive access to the National Aquarium. Iftar, served by the culinary team at Shangri-La Hotel, will showcase flavors from across the region. The experience needs to be booked at least 48 hours in advance and is priced at Dhs600 per person.

Breaking Fast with Lions and Giraffes at Al Ain Zoo

From 23 March to 21 April, get ready for a Ramadan like no other, with a quick feast under the stars and in some pretty wild company. Dine under the gaze of lions and giraffes at Al Ain Zoo. Whether it’s with the king of the jungle or the majestic long-necked lady Zafarana, this unique Ramadan dinner date has the best of guests.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

This Ramadan, guests are invited to see some of the world’s most famous works of art at the Aptitude Cafe, hosting art-filled evenings throughout the week. On Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, break your fast with a three-course iftar set menu (Dhs165) featuring Middle Eastern and international favourites. On Thursdays and Fridays, the café hosts Manoushe Nights on Tuesdays, an à la carte celebration of Mediterranean street food and local souk culture.

Elsewhere at Louvre Abu Dhabi, the iconic Fouqets will serve up a traditional Iftar menu featuring French-inspired favorites such as lentil soup and truffle foam. The menu is available all day for Dhs390 per person per day. If you wish to attend a private event with a large group, the Art Lounge offers private functions for iftar and fasting.
