Leading retailer LuLu Hypermarket is celebrating the UAE’s golden jubilee through a series of promotional activities and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Held with the theme of “UAE Pride 50”, from October 21st to December 9th, 50 products will be offered at a 50% discount in 87 stores in the UAE every day.

“Discounts will be for groceries, digital, electronic, and fashion products. Within 50 days, we will have more than 4,000 products. LuLu Marketing and Communications Director V. Nandakumar said: “Products and categories will change regularly to provide shoppers with diversity and choose. “

Spending 100 dirhams will give you a chance to win a total of 2.5 kilograms of gold. The draw will be held on December 2 to commemorate the UAE National Day. Fifty winners will be selected and each will win 50 grams of gold coins.

“Proudly from the UAE” is a festival aimed at promoting local agriculture and manufacturing, and will be held in all hypermarkets across the country.

Stuart Davidge, head of omni-channel operations, pointed out that shopping applications have been upgraded and there is a great demand for online shopping, including fresh food.

From October 26th, the “DigiTech” promotion will launch special offers for mobile phones, electronic products, cameras, IT accessories and gadgets. People can also exchange old mobile phones, TVs and laptops. Shoppers can choose to pay in installments at zero interest rate.

To celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, special packages of ethnic fashion, sweets and snacks, bulk and corporate orders will be provided, and Diwali gift cards will also be launched.

Starting from November 23, discounts on electronic products, mobile phones and gadgets are increasing, and the promotion period is 10 days until December 2.

Shabu Abdul Majeed, Director of Retail Operations, emphasized that Lulu is working with the UAE Red Crescent Society and Reach Movement to launch the “Give Dh2 Save 2 Eyes” program. Lulu will raise funds to support the “Change the lives of 5 million people in 50 days” campaign to prevent and eradicate river blindness.

Purchasing director Mujeeb Rehman (Mujeeb Rehman) revealed that he is trying to create a new world record for aspirations for countries with a “wall of pride”.
