60 students in Abu Dhabi gain exposure to healthcare professions through Mubadala Health Junior Caregiver Program

It started at the Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi in 2016, and after its success and positive reception from students and academic institutions, it expanded to include other Mubadala Health partners.

This year, 60 students from educational institutions in Abu Dhabi participated in a summer program initiated by the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Mubadala Health’s flagship partner. This state-of-the-art multi-specialty hospital is the first to host students and provides them with a comprehensive orientation program and exclusive opportunities to allow nursing staff to complete daily clinical and non-clinical tasks within the hospital, while gaining valuable exposure to the dynamic elements of a healthcare career .

Following their experience at the Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi, students rotated through several other Mubadala Health properties, gaining first-hand knowledge of different medical institutions and specialties, furthering their interest in various career opportunities within the healthcare industry . At the end of the program, the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi held a graduation ceremony to award students with certificates of completion.
