Disclaimer: We don’t know what 80 of them will be…
As a foodie city, Abu Dhabi is constantly offering new reasons to eat out. Major international brands and local restaurants have already launched some very exciting new dining destinations in 2022, but trust us, there is more to come. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is Exhibit A…
alo beirut
Popular Lebanese street food chain Allo Beirut is about to offer its first thriving Allo to the people of Abu Dhabi. They’ll be bringing their wholesome range of Levantine kebabs, sandwiches, burgers, manakish, falafel, pizza and more to the capital’s Al Najda district – keeping a distance from some of the other famous Lebanese restaurants. It’s a turf war where we wear napkins. @allobeirutstreetfood
BB Social Dining
A restaurant recognized by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, BB Social Dining has been such a successful and influential concept in its DIFC area, We’re really surprised it hasn’t conquered the world yet. But at least it’s in the works, following the first outpost at KSA earlier this year – the Abu Dhabi branch at the appropriately pretty Rosewood Hotel is due to launch in December and looks set to complete a BB gang Big 2022. If you’re wondering what to expect, we can share some of our favorite menu options for reference. We’re big fans of their Japanese and Korean buns (especially the crispy duck); edamame hummus and crispy bean sprouts are excellent appetizers; for something more substantial, we’d persuade you to consider wagyu katsu, beef pho and harissa lamb chops. @bbdifc
Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi Restaurant
The iconic “Arches on Stilts” hotel (officially known as the Fairmont Marina Abu Dhabi), which seems to be a part of the Corniche skyline forever, finally opened this year. Hope in October. With it, there will naturally be a range of exciting new food and beverage products. We don’t have full details yet, but from the renders we sent (you can see Our full text) — we can take some clues from the image caption: so far we have Aqua and More – Peoples Restaurant; L’Olive – Vero Italiano; Tao Tao – La Isla Beach Bar; and Marina X Lounge – Privé Lounge. We also know that, for reasons that continue to plague us, there will be food trucks.
Tashas Flamingo Room
We’ve received confirmation that a second UAE branch of Tashas’ Flamingo Room will open somewhere in Abu Dhabi later this year (Q3 or Q4), but we can’t confirm or deny at this time that it may be in where.original Tashas Flamingo Room Opened in 2017 at the stunning Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel in Dubai. The striking interiors there offer refined finishes inspired directly by Africa’s enchanting wilderness. Playful features like cast bronze mongoose and monkeys blend effortlessly with flamingo pink and gold Art Deco accents and an elegant food and drink menu. This is the pinnacle of safari.
EL&N
One of the most coveted cafe experiences in the British capital, EL&N launched at DIFC earlier this year, and by the budget investigative journalist approach we found some hoardings, it appears that a second UAE branch is heading to Yas Gulf Abu Dhabi. EL&N is known for trendy pink war paint, Insta fresh menu items, and A-List celebrity following. And knowing Abu Dhabi’s penchant for premium coffee, we predict this place will be fully booked weeks in advance.

sticky rice
This homegrown hidden gem, a Thai restaurant represented by the totem cartoon duck “Kew” – will launch its first permanent fixture in Abu Dhabi, located in Yas Mall. This is a restaurant with a huge following in Dubai, built on the very mouthwatering and occasionally unpronounceable Bangkok kia cuisine – pad krapow, tamarind wings, kanom tom, tom yum and of course mango sticky rice. Once you get gooey, no one else will be picky.

greenhouse
This Parisian-style bistro and bakery both opened in the mega-mall on Yas Island, which was imported from Dubai – it offers a wide range of French cuisine flavours, champion superior.from main course Examples include corn-fed chicken stuffed with condé cheese, turkey ham and baked potatoes with mushroom sauce; smaller treats like almond, mint, and feta watermelon salad—a refreshing salad perfect for summer. Because it’s a bakery, you can also get freshly baked, crunchy baguettes, delicate, rustic croissants, and oh-la-la, thick, traditional French toast.

little finger fish
Another concept comes from MBT Restaurant Management, the seafood-focused restaurant promises “a unique signature interactive table experience.” We’re not sure, but from the whispers we heard, it sounds like this menu will have a Mediterranean twist. Can we see paella without a plate, like the European version of the Dampa service ritual? We can’t wait to find out.

Greater Beirut
Also in Al Qana, this will be the fourth Emirati branch of the popular Lebanese restaurant chain, run by MBT Restaurant Management. The group has had a busy year with a new concept south beirut and Laclette Opened on Saadiyat Island with a grand appraisal. The brand has a reputation for authenticity, consistency and stunning interiors, and this statement deserves a lot of excitement.

Cronfour
There’s not a lot of information in the public domain, but if this is the same as Kronful in Beirut, Yas Mall has a whole bunch of Puerto Levantine comfort food.

Shirai Izakaya
Again, we don’t have details on this yet, but an izakaya is a boutique Japanese restaurant that usually serves sushi or street food.

All (possibly over 80) new food and beverage outlets at Reem Mall
This is how we got the number 94 (to be fair, we did make it clear that this seems to be a ruse among several disclaimers). We haven’t confirmed an opening date for these yet, but you can check out all the latest confirmations Our most recent completion update.
