Motorists in Umm Al Quwain were taken aback when police signaled them to pull over. Instead of providing pink, green or white slips, the Umm Al Quwain Police Traffic and Patrol Unit surprised drivers by issuing them certificates for following the traffic rules.
Patrol police stopped the driver and issued them a law-abiding driver’s license. Under the “You Are the Road Star” initiative, the police observed the drivers’ behavior and issued them certificates and gift bags.
