Covid safety rules

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Agency (NCEMA) has designated Covid safety rules that believers must strictly follow.

>> The maximum time limit for evangelism after prayer is 15 minutes.

>> The doors of Muslims and mosques will be opened 15 minutes before prayers begin.

>> After the service is over, the place of worship will be closed immediately.

>> Worshipers need to bring their own prayer mats. Social distance stickers will be posted.

>> Individuals who are Covid positive and close contacts are strictly prohibited from participating in prayer.

>> It is recommended for people under 12 and over 60 to pray at home.

>> Do not enter service facilities such as toilets, bathing areas, and drinking fountains.

>> The traditional practice of shaking hands and hugging after prayer is prohibited.

>> Worshipers are not allowed to gather in places of worship before or after worship.

How to offer prayer

Pray in the congregation on the first day of Eid al-Adha (July 20). This is how it is provided:

>> Before starting to pray, Muslims will perform Ghusl (bath) and put on their best clothes.

>> On the way to the place of worship, Muslims sang Takbeer (religious hymns in praise of Allah). >> The Eid al-Fitr prayer consists of two rak’ahs.

>> Seven Takabeers (say Allah Akbar) were executed in the first Rak’ah and six were executed in the second.

>> After the Takbeers, the imam (prayer leader) read the first chapter of the Quran, Surah Al Fatiha, and all or part of the other Quran.

>> Sermon after prayer.
