DXB receives ACI accessibility accreditation, showcasing inclusive travel commitment

Dubai International (DXB) receives ACI accessibility accreditation, affirming its dedication to inclusive travel. The certification acknowledges DXB’s efforts to prioritize safe and inclusive airport experiences for passengers with disabilities.

Through a two-year plan, DXB launched various initiatives, including a travel planner, an Autism Friendly Route, and extensive training programs. Their POD initiative aims to make Dubai a leading disability-friendly city, driving awareness for travelers with physical and hidden disabilities.

DXB remains committed to continuous improvement to meet the needs of all travelers, ensuring a comfortable journey for everyone, including those with hidden disabilities. The ACI accreditation is a vital tool for airports to measure, evaluate, and enhance their accessibility culture for passengers with disabilities.
