Abu Dhabi Launches 7-Day Indian Independence Festivities: LuLu Hypermarket‘s Extravaganza Features Celeb Visits, Cultural Shows, and 60% Discounts Sunjay Sudhir, the Indian Ambassador to UAE, inaugurated the ‘Celebrations of India’ campaign by LuLu Hypermarket.
The event emphasizes millets, in line with the UN’s 2023 Year of Millets declaration. Sudhir praised the display of Indian products, cultural performances, and famous Punjabi Bhangra dance at Al Wahda Mall.

The campaign includes events for India Independence Day, Onam, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, and Diwali.
Over 5,000 unique products, including 20+ millet varieties and state-specific items like pineapples from Meghalaya, are on display.
The celebration showcases Indian handicrafts, ethnic wear, food items, and stage activities like fashion shows and folk dances.
Exclusive offers of up to 60% discounts extend to fresh food, groceries, electronics, bicycles, home furnishings, ethnic wear, and footwear.
LuLu has also partnered with ZEE5 Global, bringing Indian actor Aditi Rao Hydari to meet fans in the UAE and Qatar. The campaign runs until August 16 both in-store and online at luluhypermarket.com.
