India, Greece enhance ties after rare PM meet.

During the first visit by an Indian premier to Greece in four decades, India and Greece have vowed to deepen their relationship, focusing on trade and defense collaboration.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held talks in Athens, announcing their intention to elevate the India-Greece partnership to a strategic level.

Both nations are set to enhance cooperation in areas like defense, security, infrastructure, agriculture, education, technology, and skills development.

This historic visit is expected to pave the way for increased bilateral trade, with potential plans for direct flights between the countries to facilitate connectivity.
