A heartwarming horse-loving moment for three generations of Dubai’s ruling family. Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a delightful video of his son Rashid meeting the racehorse Dubawi, while his father, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, observed.
On Instagram Sheikh Hamdan shared the video with the caption:
In the video, Dubawi eagerly approaches the fence where Sheikh Hamdan stands, with Sheikh Mohammed and Rashid by his side. As Sheikh Hamdan feeds the horse, Rashid affectionately utters “Dubawi.” The Crown Prince lifts his son to allow him to feed the friendly horse.
Dubawi, a retired Thoroughbred racehorse, was bred at Sheikh Mohammed’s Irish stud farm and enjoyed a successful racing career at the Godolphin stable. Today, he continues to serve as a breeding horse. Sheikh Mohammed’s profound love for horses and racing led to the founding of Godolphin.
Sheikh Hamdan, a devoted father of three, frequently shares photos of his children on his Instagram account, which boasts over 16 million followers. Just last month, he posted a video of himself cycling on a long, tranquil road with Rashid and his twin sister Sheikha in a buggy attached to the front of his bicycle, exploring the serene roads of Yorkshire.
In February of this year, he joyfully announced the birth of his youngest son, Mohammed, via social media. The twins, now two years old, often accompany him on his various adventures.
