Israel congratulates Saudi Arabia on its National Day

Israel congratulated Saudi Arabia on its 93rd National Day, marking a potential step toward normalizing relations between the two countries. The Israeli foreign ministry expressed its sincere congratulations to the Saudi king, government, and people, wishing them blessings, security, prosperity, and a future of peace, cooperation, and good neighborliness.

This message was shared for the first time on the ministry’s English-language account but had been posted in Arabic previously.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also mentioned the possibility of historic peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia in his address to the UN General Assembly.
