Abdullah Lutfi (Abdullah Lutfi) said in an interview with the Khalij Times that he was on Cloud Nine after appearing in a video announcing “the world’s greatest performance.” It not only portrays him as a frequent guest genius artist from Dubai, but also makes him feel honored to appear with some big stars in the Arab world, such as UAE singer Hussein Jasmi and American Lebanese Grammy nominee Singer and songwriter Mayssa Karaa.
Abdulla-the art signature “AL”-is a vibrant and well-known Emirati artist. He has been creating art since he was a child, and even used painting as a means of communication before he could speak.
In the Expo video, Lutfi appeared for about 10 seconds, working on the canvas and walking around the venue, marveling at the beautiful structure. But the 28-year-old and his art mentor Gulshan Kavarana said that those precious recognitions made his self-confidence miraculous.
Abdullah was enjoying the grand occasion on the screen. He said: “I am very grateful to my country for giving me this opportunity to make my family and friends proud of me and to show me on this huge platform. I feel very confident. Now I want to work harder and make my country and community proud. For me, it also proves that if you live in an inclusive country like the UAE, then being a determined person is not a disadvantage.”
Speaking of the VIP treatment he received at the Expo site when shooting the video, he recalled: “It was great to be treated like a celebrity there. A team of volunteers received me and provided a vanity car, which I chose Food and fashionable clothes, just like celebrities.
“Then I got a canvas and a free hand to paint the buildings and characters of my choice,” he continued. “Although I only drew my character with a black marker, because black and white is my artistic style, it is amazing to see how my character is given a rainbow color and brought to life in the video using digital technology.”
As an artist with autism, Abdullah sees and interprets the world in a unique and unconventional way. As a determined person, he believes that his art is particularly important in contributing to society, because it allows him to convey a worldview that is often not represented.
This young man is known for his amazing memory, attention to detail, and the spontaneity he brings to work. He sees art as his connection with the world around him.
Abdulla is currently working with Gulshan in his art studio NEXT Chapter, located in Tashkeel, Al Fahidi. Gulshan has been working with him since he started his official art journey in 2010.
Gulshan is the first person to discover his talent and is dedicated to helping him find his artistic voice. As his mentor, she guided him to plan and execute his work, organize his career, and challenge him as a personal growth.
“The Expo has given Abdullah a lot of exposure. Since the official theme song video was released, my phone has been ringing non-stop. My inbox is also full of companies requesting cooperation with Abdullah,” Gul Shan told Khaleej Times.
When talking about Abdullah’s work at the World Expo, she said: “The Expo team had contacted Abdullah about two years ago. They shared some interpretations of the appearance of the website, and they hoped that he would show it in his paintings. Come out. Abdullah observed them and created his own version of these buildings.”
Gulshan said that after the realization, she watched the Expo video countless times. “It is unbelievable that the Expo team has provided Abdullah with such a huge platform, without even mentioning that he is suffering from autism. This beautiful gesture in itself fully demonstrates the value of the UAE to its people. . I love this country because it is the most tolerant in the world.”
She now invites the world to see for herself. “Come to Expo 2020 Dubai and see how inclusive it is for everyone. They make it especially suitable for determined people. They even have Provide a quiet room for people with autism spectrumThere are so many activities for the hearing and visually impaired-and the site is also very suitable for wheelchair users.
