Virginia Juffrey recently sued Prince Andrew, claiming that Jeffrey Epstein recruited her to have sex with the prince when she was a teenager. She said the legacy of the late financier would allow her to share her with Epstein. Stan’s settlement agreement.

Giuffre sued Epstein in a federal court in Florida in 2009 and reached a confidentiality agreement with him that year. At this month’s hearing, the prince’s lawyer, Andrew Brettler, told a federal judge in Manhattan that he believes the agreement “exempts our clients from any and all responsibilities.”

In a related case to the court on Thursday, Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies stated that he had requested and obtained permission from Epstein Manor to share these documents with the prince and asked the court for approval. Boyce said last week that the release of the settlement agreement would “have nothing to do with the case against Prince Andrew,” but Andrew’s lawyers “have the right to review the release and make any arguments they deem appropriate based on this.”

Giuffre sued Andrew in Federal Court in Manhattan in August, claiming that he sexually abused her at Epstein’s New York home, Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Gislain Maxwell’s home in London. Andrew denied these allegations. Maxwell is in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Epstein was found dead in a prison cell in 2019, and the authorities later ruled that he committed suicide. He has been waiting for the trial of his own sex trafficking case.

These cases are Giuffre v. Prince Andrew, 21-cv-06702 and Giuffre v. Dershowitz, 19-cv-3377 of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Manhattan).
