In just a few weeks, the McMichaels and their friend William “Rody” Bryan will stand trial for the killing of Ahmed in February 2020. The men were accused of chasing Ahmed while jogging and shooting him to death after confronting him because they claimed that he might have burgled a few weeks ago.
