Taiwan takes off emergency after China’s largest invasion in history | Military News

[ad_1]

At least 38 Chinese aircraft flew over Taiwan’s air defense zone in two waves, prompting them to deploy fighter jets.

Taiwan reported the largest invasion of its air defense zone in the history of the Chinese Air Force. As Beijing marked the founding of the People’s Republic of China, 38 aircraft flew in two waves.

For a year or more, Taiwan, which China claims to have, has been complaining about the Chinese Air Force’s repeated missions near this democratically-administered island, which is usually located in the southwestern part of the air defense zone near the Taiwan-controlled Platas Islands.

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense reported for the first time that Taiwan’s fighter jets clashed with 18 J-16 and 4 Su-30 fighters, two nuclear-capable H-6 bombers and an anti-submarine aircraft on Friday.

Then in the early hours of Saturday morning, the Ministry stated that there were 13 Chinese aircraft involved in the Friday night mission-10 J-16s, 2 H-6s and an early warning aircraft.

It said that Taiwan sent fighter jets to warn Chinese aircraft and also deployed missile systems to monitor them.

According to the map released by the ministry, the first batch of Chinese planes flew in areas close to the Platas Islands, and two of the bombers were closest to the atoll.

The second group flew into the Bashi Channel that separates Taiwan from the Philippines, an important channel connecting the Pacific Ocean and the disputed South China Sea.

China has not yet commented on its activities. It has previously stated that such flights are to protect national sovereignty and are aimed at “collusion” between Taiwan and the United States, Taiwan’s most important international supporter.

The last largest invasion occurred in June and involved 28 Chinese Air Force aircraft.

Less than a day after the Chinese government launched an attack on Taiwan’s foreign minister, China’s latest mission came, which triggered the remarks of revolutionary leader Mao Zedong, condemning him as a “screaming” fly for international efforts to promote Taiwan.

China has increased military and political pressure to try to force Taiwan to accept Chinese sovereignty.

Taiwan stated that it is an independent country and will defend its freedom and democracy.
