Gandhi’s birthday is celebrated worldwide as an International Day of Non-Violence. Leaders of the world, including global organizations, are remembering his message of non-violence and tolerance.

Several events were held in India and around the world to commemorate this moment.

Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in the town of Pobandar in Gujarat. He adopted non-violent resistance and has always been at the forefront of the struggle for freedom against British colonial rule. This led to India finally achieving independence in 1947. He is called Bapu, and his unwavering belief in “Swaraj” (autonomy) and “Ahinsa” (non-violence) has won him praise from all over the world.

Earlier on Saturday, Federal Minister of Commerce and Industry Pius Goyal paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the Indian Consulate General in Dubai.

“Mahatma Gandhi played an important role in allowing us to be free. He is the father of the nation and a role model for every Indian, but people must also recognize his deep philosophical, spiritual and emotional connection with the Indian people and the people of the world. “Goyal said while speaking on the spot.

Burj Khalifa posted a video on Twitter that contained Mahatma’s famous quote: “Be the change you want to see in the world”-Mahatma Gandhi. #BurjKhalifa celebration#Gandhi commemorates the father of a country who has inspired generations
