Ajman authorities announced that Masfoot and Manama will suspend face-to-face courses until further notice

Authorities across the UAE announced that due to Cyclone Shaheen, the school will choose to conduct a two-day distance learning in several areas-October 3 and 4.

This decision was made to protect the safety of students in inclement weather.

The UAE is on high alert and the authorities also warned residents Avoid beaches, valleys, dams, mountains And low-lying areas during hurricanes.

The storm is expected to intensify to Category 1 tropical cyclone, This is likely to happen on Sunday night.

Oman declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays.

“In view of the fluctuations in the weather and the changes in the country’s main weather conditions, and to ensure the safety of school students, Ajman’s Emergency, Disaster and Crisis Team coordinated with the UAE Education Authority to issue a decision to be held in Malaysia from tomorrow on Sunday. Distance education is implemented in the Sfoot and Manama areas until further notice,” Ajman Police said in a statement on its Instagram account.

The Dubai Supreme Council for Crisis and Disaster Management also announced Distance learning at Hatta School Sunday and Monday.

A tweet from the Dubai Media Office said: “Tomorrow, Sunday, October 3, various government and private entities will operate as usual. The committee will continue to follow up developments related to Tropical Storm Shaheen and take the following appropriate measures.”

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) announced that for the safety of students, educational institutions in Khor Fakkan, Kalba and Deba Al-Hisn will also conduct two-day online learning.

“SPEA will continue to closely monitor the situation with the competent authorities and take necessary actions in this regard,” it said.
