These flights will operate on October 2, 5, 9, 16, 23, and 30.
The airline said on Sunday that Emirates will operate special commercial flights from Dubai to Manila in October.
The repatriation flights operated on October 2, 5, 9, 16, 23, and 30 will reduce the waiting time for Filipino citizens who wish to fly home, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements.
In accordance with the requirements of the Philippine authorities, Emirates has resumed regular passenger services to Manila, Clark and Cebu for all eligible passengers. The special “Bayanihan” flight will provide an additional opportunity to secure the reservation, which can be done by contacting +9714 274 9199.
Only Filipino citizens currently in the UAE are eligible to reserve seats on special flights and need to meet the following requirements:
> A 10-day facility quarantine, with the arrival date as the first day, will apply to all passengers, and then a 4-day home quarantine.
> The allocation of segregated facilities in designated hotels will be coordinated by Emirates and the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) and/or the Department of Tourism (DOT).
As the Philippine authorities lifted the ban on UAE travelers, the ban came into effect in September, and the airline has resumed daily flights to and from Manila. At the same time, there are five weekly flights to Clark and two weekly flights to Cebu. The flights can be booked by Filipinos and expats.
