United Arab Emirates: Etihad Airways said that India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have extended their grounding period until at least July 31-News

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, announced that it will extend the suspension period for flights to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh until July 31.

When searching for flights from Mumbai, Karachi, and Dhaka to the UAE on the website, a message will pop up telling passengers the date of July 31, 2021.

“The only exemption is if you are a diplomat, UAE national or golden visa holder. In this case, your PCR test must be performed up to 48 hours before your flight,” the carrier said.

Earlier, the Abu Dhabi-based airline notified passengers on social media that the suspension of flights from these three countries to the UAE capital will be extended until July 21.

It has been decided to suspend flights from these countries to curb the coronavirus pandemic.
