[ad_1]

The policies of UAE school institutions apply to all cycles, including early childhood and kindergarten

The Emirates Schools Agency (ESE) announced the assessment and examination policy for UAE public schools for the 2021-2022 school year.

The evaluation policy applies to all cycles, including early childhood and kindergarten. The policy provided on the ESE website is based on three pillars, including feedback on the implementation of the evaluation policy, the school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year, and the allocation of school days and quarterly holidays according to the decision of the UAE Cabinet, and the public school curriculum planning guide for the 2021-2022 school year .

ESE stated that in accordance with the evaluation policy approved by the Ministry of Education, the Student Evaluation and Measurement Department was established as part of the organization’s organizational structure to develop frameworks, standards, tools and systems related to evaluating student performance in schools, as well as national and international tests. , Which helps to improve students’ global competitiveness indicators.

The policy is divided into three types: diagnostic, formative and summative. The weight of each assessment is calculated in a different way in the student’s overall performance to improve their performance level within accurately established standards.

ESE also announced that in accordance with the conditions established in the assessment policy, a re-examination will be held for students in grades 4-12 at the end of the school year, especially in July.

The authorities stated that students will take all the school’s online semester exams, which is in line with the agreement issued by the country’s authorities to operate educational institutions and the precautionary measures taken by public schools.
