The Ajman Criminal Court sentenced five Asians to death for premeditating the murder of a compatriot businessman and stealing AED 109,000 from his home in the emirate.
Defendants include SM, 39 years old; Ton, 25; 21 o’clock in the morning; TS, 27; and, in the absence, CS, 26.
According to the police, the businessman’s friend reported his disappearance to the authorities after he could not be reached by phone or visited the latter’s apartment.
The police patrol was sent to the victim’s residence and found the victim’s body in the refrigerator.
After checking surveillance cameras and conducting investigations, five perpetrators were identified. According to the police, the gang rented an apartment in the victim’s building to plot the crime.
The camera lens showed that two people followed the victim into his apartment. About two and a half hours later, five people were seen leaving the apartment. When three of them returned to the apartment, the other two tried to escape at the airport. The police were able to arrest them and their accomplices in the apartment before they boarded the plane.

After questioning, the third defendant confessed that he had committed a criminal act of robbing a businessman with the help of the four defendants.
Three of the defendants entered the apartment through the air-conditioning vent one hour before the victim entered. After finding the money, they waited for him, then stabbed him a few times, and then fled with the stolen goods.
