“This pavilion is a pavilion for the people. The regime will come and go. But Afghanistan is still Afghanistan. The land is the same. The people are the same,” said the businessman, a fourth-generation seller of antiques and handicrafts. .
Some of the rare works on display include a huge 15th-century necklace decorated with gold and silver and a Koran in a large box; a bridal crown with green and blue enamel; a Dashtshui and a gorgeous brass Basins and kettles are inlaid with turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli.

Located in the sustainable development zone, the pavilion also displays colorful displays of Afghan traditional costumes, handmade carpets, gems and saffron from various regions.

Rahemi said he contacted the Expo authorities and obtained permission to display his collection.
“I have participated in a lot of World Expos. As long as there are large exhibitions, I will show the best things in Afghanistan. I don’t want to miss this Expo,” he told Khaleej Times.
