T20 World Cup: Fahal, Sarfaraz and Haider Ali selected for Pakistan finals-News

On Friday, the national selection staff confirmed Pakistan’s lineup for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held from October 17th to November 14th in the United Arab Emirates. Pakistan is in Group 2 and will start their international cricket match against India on October 24th in Dubai.

Starting from the lineup announced on September 4, the selection staff made three changes after taking into account the performance and state of the players.

Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali replaced Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain, respectively, while Fakhar Zaman, originally named a tourist reserve, exchanged places with Khushdil Shah.

The decision whether Sohaib Maqsood will join the team will be based on medical advice. The top batsman underwent an MRI scan of his lower back after the national T20 match against the North on October 6, and missed the Punjab derby against Punjab on Thursday.
