UAE: Al Wasmi rainy season will start on October 16th-News

[ad_1]

The Al Wasmi season in the UAE will begin on Saturday, October 16. During this period, the country will witness wind and rain, allowing plants to grow.

Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, chairman of the board of the UAE Astronomical Society and member of the Arab Astronomy and Space Science Federation, stated in the WAM report that Al Wasmi is one of the most praised seasons for the people of the UAE, in the Arabian Peninsula.

Before entering the winter season, the country experienced strong winds, light rain to heavy rain, and a significant drop in temperature.

Al Jarwan explained that the logo of Al Wasmi was when the Arabs called it the “first spring” or “spring of water and dew”, which was the rainy season and high humidity season, and the weather was mild and severely cold before winter.

These rains stimulated the growth of wild or desert plants and pastures that lasted for months.

Al-Jarwan said: “If it rains early enough in this season and there are multiple intervals, the land will become fertile, allowing different types of wild plants, including flowers and seasonal herbs, to grow.

“Annual and perennial green herbs, as well as wild herbs grown at the beginning of this season, can complete their complete life cycle before the scorching sun. Their life cycle is usually about 4-6 months, and they can be used for the next season. Produce seeds.”

Meteorological experts pointed out that there are four moons in the Alwasmi season, and each moon lasts for 13 days.

Al Jarwan said that according to different analysts, this season lasts 52 to 60, starting in mid-October and ending in mid-December.

Al-Jarwan explained that before the start of the season, the Arab region experienced Suhail.

“Due to rainfall and temperature drops, the Al Wasmi season is generally beneficial for plant growth and agriculture. The highest temperature is between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature is between 20 and 10 degrees Celsius,” he said.

“The period not more than 10 days before the season mark is called “pre-marking.” During this period, clouds appear from the north.”

The Al Wasmi or marking season begins with the crossing of migratory birds, such as Houbara bustards, sandpipers and falcons.

Because of its abundance, this is also a good time to fish in the sea.

During the Al Wasmi season, due to weather changes, including rain or sandstorms and low visibility, residents are advised to take preventive measures.
