ARY Group announced the launch of Pakistan’s first high-definition sports channel on Saturday.
The channel group announced on its Instagram account that ASports will be launched on October 16, and added that the ICC T20 World Cup will be broadcast live on the channel on October 17.
Pakistani cricketers Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis announced that they will join the channel. They announced the news on their official Twitter account.

ASports is part of the ARY Digital Network and won the broadcast rights for the ICC T20 World Cup shortly after its launch.
