#TSRPrayersUp: On Sunday, people on social media responded to Chicago Sun Times Allegedly #JelaniDayThe body was found without any organs. The report stated that Day’s organs were “completely liquefied.”
“The corpse had no eyeballs, only eye sockets. The water of the river ran through her channel, soaking her body,” the Chicago Sun Times reported.
According to reports, a forensic pathologist hired by the family was unable to locate Jelani’s brain, organs or spleen. “According to Day and her lawyers, the family’s private forensic pathologist could not find the brain. There are no organs. Nor does the liver. Neither does the spleen.”
According to the Chicago Sun Times, the report also stated that Day’s body “suffered numerous fish and turtle bites and was covered with maggots,” said Bezner, a family lawyer.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, the county’s coroner’s forensic pathologist stated that Day’s “genitals could not be identified” and the family’s private forensic pathologist determined that it was “skinned” or had no skin.
The family lawyer also stated that the investigation is still ongoing and she plans to seek a “reasonable” explanation for Jelani Day’s severely decomposed body.
“I really want to ask questions, not take the path of a lot of conspiracies, because I think it’s easy to take this path,” Bezner said.
As previously reported, Jelani Day disappeared on August 24, and his body was found in the Illinois River on September 4. But it was not until September 24 that the coroner confirmed that the body belonged to Gerani.
In an interview with CNN, Gerani’s mother, Carmen, said that the authorities advised her son to drive to the river bank, take off his clothes, and walk in the river. She firmly denied this myth and said that Gerani could swim. She also said that her son was not depressed or mentally unhealthy when he died.
Please continue to pray for Gerani’s family.
