Warner Bros. will open the first hotel in the world. Its home is the UAE.
WB Abu Dhabi Hotel will open to guests on November 11 this year. Located on Yas Island, it will allow visitors to see their favorite stories and characters come to life through a unique hospitality experience.
With one of the best archives of Warner Bros., guests will experience a journey of discovery through movies and TV, and enjoy the entertainment group’s rich history and timeless library of works at every touch point from arrival to departure.
Visitors can listen to familiar piano tunes from Westworld while dining in one of the five restaurants in the hotel-or call one of their favorite Looney Tunes characters and enjoy the room service brought by Wascally Wabbit and Bugs Bunny himself.
Miral Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak said: “We are proud to be able to launch another number one with the opening of the only Warner Bros. hotel in the world.”
What to expect
The experience begins when guests of The WB Abu Dhabi Hotel pull to the hotel, where they will see digital screens that span the height of the building and play original content created for the hotel.
Before entering the hotel, they can stop for a short time in front of the iconic “friends” fountain, and they continue to tell stories after they walk through the lobby. The guest room corridor displays a well-planned art gallery.
The well-planned guest room artwork will be inspired by three themes. The first theme “From script to screen” highlights outstanding moments in Warner Bros. movies and shows, and records the process from the written page to the final shot. The second theme is “Artist Confidential”, which celebrates the various talents in front of and behind the camera in some of Warner Bros’ favorite works. The third theme “The Vault” showcases rare images from the group’s most memorable archives.
