Okay, roommates. A video about a former employee of Alexis Skyy’s Luxe Beauty Bar at Long Island Salon went viral. In the video, the young lady claimed that she did not receive the last check after leaving the store.
In the video, the young woman we call Jade said that she was not satisfied with her job at the salon and decided to find another job. Upon returning to collect the last salary, Jade claimed that she was told that there was no money in the business account, and when she finally received the check, it was returned and deducted from her bank account.
We talked to Alexis Skyy, and he explained that only part of the young woman’s story is true. Alexis confirmed to us that she closed her salon and related bank accounts about 3 weeks ago because she was moving to another state and planning to sell it.
According to Alexis’ salon manager, when Jed returned to collect her last check, she received the cash but was rejected.
Alexis told us that she gave the payroll to the manager of the salon and confirmed with them that the paycheck had been offset before closing the account. She also claimed that Jade waited too long to cash the check, which is why it was returned.
Since Jade’s video has started to spread online, Alexis told us that her only goal is to correct the situation. After obtaining Jade’s contact information from her former salon manager, she sent her last salary to Jade via Cashapp.
