Covid-19: Saudi Arabia starts operating airport at full capacity-News

The General Administration of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA) said on Sunday that it has begun operating the airport at full capacity.

In a notice issued today to all airlines (including private aviation) operating at Kingdom Airports, GACA stated that the Kingdom will use the full capacity of its airports to operate domestic and international flights.

It pointed out that the traveller’s immunization status will continue to be verified through the official Covid-19 contact tracing app Tawakkalna.

This is because the kingdom relaxed several restrictions on Covid-19 on Sunday in response to the sharp decline in daily infections and the significant development of vaccination.

The SPA news agency quoted the Ministry of the Interior as saying that people will no longer need to wear masks in open spaces.

The government also cancelled social distancing measures and allowed Full attendance of two mosques Serving people who have been vaccinated with full doses in Mecca and Medina.

In places where the health check is not conducted through the Tawakkalna app, they will continue to maintain their physical distance and wear a mask.
