The first International Conference of the World Genius Center aims to promote the exchange of knowledge about genius and talent development.
The Minister of Education, Hussein bin Ibrahim Hamadi, announced the opening of the meeting at the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo 2020 Dubai on Monday.
The meeting oversaw the launch of the World Genius Center, an initiative of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Outstanding Academic Performance.
Wam said that the center aims to become a global center for talent development and to create a mentality to train outstanding talents to support basic education needs around the world. The meeting will last until October 21.
The event also supervised the presentation of two international awards-the Global Award Initiative for Gifted Education Schools and the Global Award for Applied Research in Gifted Education. According to media reports, the purpose of these awards is to encourage research and initiatives aimed at talented departments and schools to help support talented students around the world.
The theme of this conference is “Development of Talents in the New Era-Discovering Possibilities and Changing for the Better”.
Al Hamadi said at the opening ceremony: “As we all know, the education systems of all countries in the world have experienced periods of turbulence due to the impact of the new crown virus crisis. This huge challenge is a good thing. It has strengthened human confrontation and overcoming it. cooperate.”
“Together we have witnessed how this affects the pace of recovery and achievement in the education field. He added: “We welcome all different cultural and intellectual diversity from 192 countries. Our participation in Expo 2020 Dubai today provides an extraordinary opportunity to explore the future prospects of talented people from all over the world and create opportunities for more In-depth understanding of our responsibilities in educating talents and the future of talents in general.”
Hamadi also commemorated the late Sheikh Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Supreme Chairman of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Outstanding Academic Performance. Died on the moon.
