His Royal Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Dubai, today visited the India, Pakistan and Singapore pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai.

He said that as countries resume their economic activities and compete to make up for the missed opportunities in the past two years, the diversity and quality of innovation in large-scale global events have given us an understanding of how the future of the world is being shaped.

During the visit to the India Pavilion in the Opportunity Zone, Sheikh Maktoum heard about the country’s rich ancient civilization, vision for the future, and rapid economic growth.

The India Pavilion showcases the five “Ts” of the country-talent, trade, tradition, tourism and technology. The four-story pavilion structure explores everything from the country’s yoga and health stories to the booming space technology field. Visitors to the pavilion can discover its wonderful art, culture and natural wonders, as well as a series of business and investment opportunities in the country.

Sheikh Maktoum also visited the Pakistan Pavilion in the Opportunity Zone, which showcases the beauty of the country’s diverse environment. The pavilion provides a unique tour of the country’s “peaks of progress” in sustainable development, sports, and technology. Pakistan has a history of 7,000 years. With the continuous development of art, culture and diversity, Pakistan is one of the best kept secrets in the world.

During the visit, he learned about the main highlights of Pakistan going into the future through the huge interactive screen of the exhibition hall.

Sheikh Maktoum’s visit to Expo 2020 also includes a visit to the Singapore Pavilion in the Sustainable Development Zone. The lush zero net energy pavilion demonstrates how the country overcomes geographic constraints and becomes a green, livable and resilient city in the future.
