The iconic Dubai running race will return to Sheikh Zayed Road on November 26.
The event is one of the hallmarks of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and is now open to runners of all ages and abilities.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to travel to the city’s giant tracks, including a 5-km route designed for families and a 10-km route designed for leisure and professional runners.
The starting line is close to the spectacular Museum of the Future, and all contestants will see some landmarks in the emirate-including the Emirates Towers and Downtown Dubai-and then cross the finish line on Al Mustaqbal Street near the Dubai World Trade Center.
Runners on the 10 km route will also pass Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Avenue.
In order to prepare for the Dubai run, warm-up activities will be held throughout the city in October and November. These include the Dubai Academic City Run; Dubai South Run; CBD runs on Palm; and Dubai Design District Run as well as Halloween Special Run on October 30th and Dubai World Expo 2020 Run on November 19th.
Runners who sign up for the Dubai Run will receive a limited-edition T-shirt made from sustainable fabrics.
