[ad_1]

This attraction provides visitors with a perfect 360-degree panoramic view

Dubai Al Ain, located on the Blue Water Island, is one of the most anticipated attractions in the UAE, and it finally launched today (October 21).

Ain Dubai was first announced in February 2013, welcoming the first group of guests to visit some of the most spectacular landmarks in the country.

Ain Dubai is the epitome of Dubai’s continuous commitment to develop the emirate’s products into tourism and lifestyle destinations and enrich the quality of life of Dubai people.

Here are some amazing facts about Al Ain Dubai.

Observation cabin

Ain Dubai’s viewing cabins provide visitors with a perfect vantage point for 360-degree views of Dubai-Arabian Gulf waters.

Passengers can board one of 48 luxury cabins, each cabin can carry up to 40 guests. So at any time, there can be up to 1,750 people on wheels.

It takes 38 minutes for the wheel to make a full revolution, and it is as stable as a rock. If you find this unbelievable, watch Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan sipping a drink on the small roof.

The world’s largest and tallest observation wheel

It is 250 meters high, almost twice the height of the London Eye.

With the arrival of Ain Dubai, the London Eye, which is only 135 meters long, has been pushed to fifth place in the list of the world’s tallest wheels.

At present, the highest Las Vegas High Roller is 167.5 meters high, the Singapore Flyer is 165 meters high, and China’s Nanchang Star is 160 meters high.

Jointly built by more than 10 major countries

Creating engineering miracles is a global effort.

More than 10 countries have jointly built Ain Dubai, and its steel wheel structure is produced in the UAE, South Korea and Germany.

The United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands provided key engineering and project management expertise.

The two largest cranes in the world

Ain Dubai is more than 250 meters high and was built by the two largest cranes in the world.

Mammoet was awarded a heavy lifting contract for the installation of key structural elements of the wheels. Mammoet proposed to use two super heavy cranes to install the largest components directly from the barge, namely the outriggers and the main shaft.

For installation, Mammoet paired the world’s largest crane PTC 200-DS (a 5000-ton ring crane) with a 3000-ton crawler crane.
