On Saturday, the Sheikh of Dubai announced the launch of a new comprehensive development plan in Hatta.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, shared the news and a video of the latest plan on Twitter.
New beaches, lakes, hillside transportation systems, hotel facilities, 120 kilometers of bicycle trails, and the longest mountain road in the country are among the announced projects.
Sheikh Mohammed also stated that a standing committee has been appointed to oversee the development of Hatha.
He added that the goal is to establish a comprehensive economic development model that can benefit the people of Hada.
