The UAE police reunited a couple after seven years of separation.
As part of efforts to support the principles of human unity and brotherhood between nations, the Ajman Police Headquarters helped a Syrian man and his wife to reunite after seven years of separation. The couple separated due to conditions that have plagued him for years, as well as the Covid-19 lockdown and travel restrictions.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Lieutenant Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, chief of the Comprehensive City Police Department, explained that a Syrian man had visited the center for help because he was unable to bring his wife to the UAE. Fell into terrible financial troubles during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ajman police responded to the call and quickly made all arrangements to bring the man’s wife to the country, including booking a hotel for the special reunion.
The community police coordinated with traffic police and other personnel to accompany the husband to the airport to pick up his wife.
The grateful couple thanked the Ajman police and its leadership for their humanitarian attitude and generous support.
