ADNEC launches expansion plans in Abu Dhabi and London to enhance its global leadership in business travel

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Corporation (ADNEC) today announced the launch of a plan to expand the facilities and infrastructure of the Abu Dhabi and London Group centers. The development and operation of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center includes the construction of the largest exhibition hall in the Middle East and North Africa, with a total area of ​​10,000 square meters. The area opposite the large platform of the center will begin to develop. By increasing the outdoor activity area, more than 10,000 square meters will be added, thereby increasing the total exhibition outdoor space in this area by 70% to 24,000 square meters.

The expansion and development of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center will increase the overall internal space of the exhibition by 12% to 92,000 square meters, and the overall outdoor space of the exhibition will exceed 59,000 square meters, increasing the overall area of ​​the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. An increase of 7% to more than 151,000 square meters.

The development of the UK ExCeL London Centre, wholly owned by ADNEC, will include the start of the third phase of the expansion of its facilities. This includes the addition of 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, the establishment of new conference halls and multiple service facilities on three floors, which will increase the overall space of the center by 25% to 125,000 square meters.

It has 17 conference halls and reception and banquet areas. In 2010, ADNEC developed and constructed the adjacent Aloft Hotel in London, with 252 rooms. The development was completed in 2011.

ADNEC developed the facilities of its Al Ain Conference Center, the center of Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi, and completed the first phase of development in 2011, which included the development of the Al Khabisi 2 hall, a complete renovation, and the development of new facilities for the center.
