What’s On The award-winning nightclub is back…
It has been a while since we met in the Oval Club in Dubai Design District, but the memory has never faded. Sky2.0 from Beirut changed the rules of the game when it landed in Dubai in 2019. Blending entertainment with decorations, costumes and cocktails, you don’t want to go anywhere else on weekends.
After the sudden closure in March 2020, we had to wait patiently and announce the following news: Sky 2.0 has finally reopened. The nightclub won the What’s On Nightlife best newcomer award last year, and now it can finally hang up.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, guests are invited to unite and celebrate life with a well-planned beckoning beat soundtrack. Thursday is an iconic night, which means if you like home music and electronic beats, this is where your weekend starts.
Boom Box will provide an endless playlist of retro national anthems every Friday, and Black is Gold (BIG) for R&B, hip-hop and rap fans on Saturday night. Every night on the bill will last until 4 AM.
The venue retains its unique design, with a lock-shaped bar, a hollow dome and beautiful palm trees. The architecture of Sky 2.0 is the genius of collaboration between Chafic El Khazen and French architect Michelle Sarfati.
