ADIPEC 2021: Italy is the third largest supplier in the UAE

With a value of close to 135 million euros (annual average), Italy is the third largest component supplier in the UAE’s oil and gas industry, accounting for 10% of the industry’s global exports. With strong trade relations with the UAE, Italy will showcase 130 professional companies at the 2021 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPC 2021) this week.

The official Italian national pavilion (28 companies) is organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in the UAE, the Italian Consulate General in Dubai and the Italian Association ANIE-National Federation of Electrical and Electronic Companies, ANIMA-Italian Machinery and Engineering Industry Federation of Associations, ANIMP-Italian Industrial Equipment Engineering Association and FEDERTEC-Italian Fluid Power, Power Transmission, Intelligent Automation and Industrial Products and Process Control Electromechanical Technology and Components Association.

The Italian expertise on display at ADNEC Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center includes manufacturers of valves, pumps, turbines, actuators, welders, compressors and pressure equipment.

ADIPEC 2021 is the first global energy forum after the pandemic to discuss the key decisions of the United Nations Climate Conference COP26 held in the UK earlier this month. This week’s forum will provide thought leadership, direction and strategies that will form strategic and policy responses as the oil and gas industry shifts to providing net-zero energy.
