Expo 2020 Dubai will celebrate the Italian National Day on November 24 with green, white and red themes. The Expo will spend a whole day in Italy, arranging cultural events, high-profile institutional meetings, family activities and entertainment, both inside and outside the pavilion.
An institutional delegation led by the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maiola will visit the Italian Pavilion and participate in a special event that opens at 10 a.m. (Dubai time). An event will be held at Al Wasl Square in the center of the Expo site, starting with the flag-raising ceremony and the performance of the national anthems of Italy and the UAE, followed by speeches by the highest authorities of the two countries. The first stage will end with a performance by the Carabinieri armed forces.
The plan will then continue in the Expo’s business contact center, where there will be bilateral meetings and plenary meetings between senior officials.
Throughout the day, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will host a series of colorful cultural events at the same time. These events will culminate in the climax of the evening: a concert at La Scala Opera House, sponsored by the Braco Foundation, Accademia Teatro Founding member of alla Scala and gold sponsor of the Italian Pavilion.
Since the opening of the exhibition on October 1, the Italian Pavilion has received 500,000 physical visitors, making it one of the most visited national pavilions at the World ExpoYingshiThe total number of virtual visitors via websites and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube) reached 5 million.

The busy agenda for National Day also includes a sporting event: the coaches of the National Sports Federation will play the activities of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), which will carry out activities for children with its own delegation.
