Coronavirus: UAE reports 1,506 Covid-19 cases, 1,484 recovered, 3 deaths-News

To date, more than 63 million Covid tests have been conducted.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,506 Covid-19 coronavirus cases on Wednesday, of which 1,484 recovered and 3 died.

The new case was discovered through 242,524 additional tests.

As of July 21, the total number of cases in the UAE was 665,533, while the total number of recovered people was 643,234. The death toll is now 1,907.

On Tuesday morning, residents and members of the royal family conducted Eid al-Adha prayers in mosques and Muslim prayers across the UAE and adopted Covid-19 security measures.

At the same time, Khaleej Times learned that a group of 20 intensive care medical staff arrived in the UAE from India on Tuesday.

After obtaining special approval from the UAE authorities, NMC Healthcare announced that medical staff including doctors, nurses and paramedics will take off from Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on two special Air Arabia flights.

Sinopharm vaccine highly effective against Delta mutation

Researchers from one of the famous universities in Sri Lanka, Jayevad Napura University in Sri Lanka, found that China’s Covid-19 vaccine is very effective against the Delta variant, which has become a major variant in the world.

“This vaccine was found to be very effective against delta variants. The antibody response to delta variants and neutralizing antibodies is similar to the level after natural infection,” the university said on its website on Monday.

Flight suspension

The General Administration of Civil Aviation (GCAA) said on Monday that inbound passenger travel from 16 countries/regions to the UAE will continue to be suspended until further notice.
